Always a must

Jacket |
It's best to bring
several light jackets that you can "layer" instead of one heavy
jacket |
|
Foot Gear |
Water proof is best,
but if you don't have them bring an extra pair to change into.
Most of the birding areas at the Festival have improved trails

Sunglasses
Sunscreen

Binoculars |
The most common or
popular size is 7x25. But any size will help you id birds

Bring a camera - any

Some the best photos from last were taken with a one time use
camera picked up on the way to the Festival. Don't take a chance

You don't need
anything fancy. Just something you can record the birds you saw.
It can be done with as simple as a pocket sized notepad or you
can buy a birding log book at the Festival from SnowGoose
Bookstore. |
|
Bird Id Book |
There are several
great books that will help you not only identify but also help
you find birds. |
